The California Earthworkers Summit is an annual statewide gathering of stewards, leaders, and community partners. CES creates space for learning, connection, and celebration through hands-on workshops, keynote speakers, youth-led programming, showcases, and cultural offerings.

Rooted in Earth care, intergenerational knowledge, and ecological responsibility, CES fosters community resilience and cultivates leadership toward a thriving, regenerative future for all.

Meet the Team

Sheyna Burns

Executive Director

Sheyna is a committed leader in grassroots driven environmental, climate, and agricultural stewardship. With a strong background in organizing, controlled environment agriculture, and values-driven leadership, she guides the vision and strategy of the California Earthworkers Summit—uplifting the work of stewards across the state and creating pathways toward a more rooted and resilient future.

Elana Solon

Director

Elana is a seasoned Nonprofit Development Consultant with deep experience in the philanthropic sector. She brings a strategic, equity-centered approach to fundraising, organizational growth, and community engagement. As Director of the California Earthworkers Summit, she helps drive partnerships, resource development, and long-term sustainability.
